SoftTap as a method has existed since 1988.

Jason and Rosalie trained in person at SoftTap headquarters in California, directly under the method's creator, and were signed off as SoftTap’s official New York instructors.

Today, Masters At Werk trains and certifies SoftTap technicians.

WHY THIS MATTERS FOR FIRST-TIME BROWS

Virgin skin gives us something valuable: a clean starting point.

That makes restraint, judgment, placement, color choice, and understanding how pigment will heal especially important.

The goal is not to put as much pigment into the skin as possible. The goal is to make good decisions from the beginning so the work heals naturally, ages appropriately, and stays flexible over time.

Hair grows back. Permanent makeup does not offer that same margin for error.

The first visit establishes the foundation. After the skin heals, the next visit allows us to refine density, balance, and shape based on what the skin actually retained.

Softap is designed around living skin. The healed result matters more than the fresh result.

What to Expect

01 — FOUNDATION

The first session establishes the shape and a conservative pigment foundation.

02 — REFINEMENT

After healing, the second session refines balance, density, and shape based on the healed result.

03 — FINAL CHECK

A final visit confirms how the work healed and allows us to address a small refinement if one is genuinely needed.

The process is designed to be completed within the appropriate treatment window while respecting normal healing between visits.
